Coconut Creek is also home to the well known Butterfly World, a recreational area wherein families can walk freely with hundred of butterflies. This area is also home to the Seminole Casino and The Promenade at Coconut Creek.
Sports lovers will find plenty of entertainment for each season. The Miami Dolphins practice nearby in Davie, FL at Nova Southeastern University and plan weekly during football season in Miami, FL. The Florida Panthers, the NHL team, practice and play locally in Sunrise, FL, at the Bank Atlantic Center. Baseball lovers can attend a Florida Marlins game at the Sun Life Stadium nearby off of I-75. Last but not least, the Miami Heat practice and play just south of here in Miami.
